Boss Me-80 custom presets as text & number lists

Got me a Boss-Me-80, the only downer so far is that about 70% of the
factory presets (the ones I cannot change) I have no use for (all I
really want great sustain, blues/jazz/country tones and a bit of light
metal.

I looked up the Roland

but those are, as far as I can tell, downloadable to and usable on a
windows or mac computer only. I use Linux only. Does anyone know of

- similar collections but of number-sets that fully

The text & numbers lists I haven't found but will soon make and publish
some, they should help users as departure-points to roll their own.

Linux recognizes the usb device as "0582:0178 Roland Corp" but unlike
for a camera-card 'fdisk -l' reports nothing. Giving this data + Linux
to google however does hit upon some (for now only limited) discussion.
I'm interested more in the ability to download and then manage
(arrange/migrate) presets while using Linux then in the
recording-associated type functions for which I have something much better
